Dr Qirrat is a specialist General Practitioner with a special interest in women’s and children’s health. She completed her medical degree in Pakistan in 2010 and moved to Australia in 2014. Dr Qirrat completed her specialist training with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) with most of her training undertaken in rural communities around Brisbane.

As a woman and mother of three, Dr Qirrat has a strong appreciation of the central role women play within families and across generations. Coming from a South Asian background, she is particularly passionate about supporting women to prioritise their physical and mental wellbeing, recognising that caring for women helps strengthen families and communities as a whole.

Dr Qirrat believes many women feel more comfortable discussing sensitive health concerns with a female GP and values creating a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for her patients. She enjoys caring for women across all stages of life and takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to care.

Outside of work, Dr Qirrat enjoys spending time with her children, cooking, and kayaking. She speaks Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi, allowing her to provide culturally sensitive care and support to women from diverse backgrounds.
