We know that at various ages and stages of life, women will seek out a GP with specific experience in women’s health for that extra bit of specialised care.
At Evoca, we have handpicked GPs across Australia who are skilled in offering individualised and evidence-based care in all areas of women’s health from contraception, endometriosis fertility and pregnancy to menopause and everything in between.
Supporting the GPs and their patients is a multidisciplinary team of women’s health professionals including physios, dieticians, nurses, and specialists, so that evoca offers you a holistic approach to care.
The GPs at Evoca can also conduct non-surgical procedures such as IUD, Implanon and pessary fittings, so you can access many of your women’s health needs under the one roof and have this integrated into your general health care.

They are well connected in the community and can recommend a holistic care team for you
They are part of an Australia wide network of women’s health GPs with a focus on continuous learning and development
They will recommend evidence-based management and treatment options which are in line with the latest research and approaches to women’s health

No. Evoca doctors are General Practitioners with a passion for and experience in women’s health. Many of the GPs at Evoca have undertaken further training in the women’s health space, but this does not make them a specialist. However, General Practitioners can perform many of the typical non-surgical procedures that specialists also perform, such as IUD insertions.
Absolutely. You can decide to see your Evoca GP exclusively for your women’s health concern and have them collaborate with your regular GP on your care, or you can see an Evoca GP for all your healthcare needs. The GPs at Evoca are well versed in general practice, with a passion for and experience in women’s health. This means that Evoca GPs are able to seamlessly integrate your women’s health care and general health care. The choice is yours.
The GPs at Evoca Women’s Health are committed to spending the extra time with you required to take a thorough history, understand any health concerns, and work with you to formulate a treatment plan. As such, Evoca is largely a private billing service, however bulk billing may be available in some circumstances, such as for health care card holders.
