Dr Victoria Ripley

Growing up in several countries before studying medicine in Scotland, Dr Victoria Ripley was drawn to general practice after enjoying all her rotations and appreciating the fast-paced, varied nature of the work. She loves getting to know the person beyond the medical issues and finds great value in hearing patients’ life stories.

Dr Ripley has worked as a GP in the UK, Africa, and Canada, before moving to beautiful Perth, WA in the middle of the 2020 pandemic. She holds additional qualifications in women’s health and has a particular interest in supporting the unique healthcare needs of women—a passion that was strongly reinforced during her time working as a bush doctor in rural Zambia.

Now settled in Perth, Dr Ripley finds the local community warm and welcoming. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, reading, swimming, bushwalking with her dogs, and has recently returned to horse riding after a 20-year break.
