Dr Mai completed her medical studies at the University of Leicester in the UK and earned her fellowship with the Royal Australia College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2021. Moving from Malaysia, Dr Mai has made Australia her home and is dedicated to improving health outcomes for her patients in Toowoomba.

With other a decade of experience working in General Practice, Dr Mai has cared for patients with a wide range of health needs and concerns. Over the years she has developed a special passion for women’s health understanding the unique challenges and priorities women face through their lives. As a mother of two, Dr Mai deeply appreciates the vital role that women play not only in nurturing their own families, but also in shaping and supporting the wider community.

Dr Mai places a strong emphasis on community health, ensuring communities have access to high-quality care, and are empowered with the knowledge to make informed choices about their well-being. She believes in a holistic approach, considering the physical, emotional, and social aspects of health to support patients in living their healthiest, fullest lives.

Fluent in both English and Malay Dr Mai is able to connect with patients of diverse backgrounds, providing a welcoming, supportive environment for her patients seeking her care.
