Dr Rosaleen Jacob

Having completed her medical degree and gaining extensive experience in paediatrics at Sydney Children’s Hospitals and its network, Dr Rosaleen Jacob is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with a special interest in Women’s Health.

Dr Jacob passionately decided to pursue general practice to provide primary health care across all ages. She has completed rotations in general surgery, geriatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, and emergency medicine at various major public hospitals in NSW and Sydney before moving into general practice. She also holds a National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health from Family Planning Alliance Australia (FPAA)

Passionate about supporting women through each stage of their reproductive life, Dr Jacob is dedicated to helping her patients understand that they don’t have to suffer through common yet challenging symptoms. Having experienced severe pelvic pain and dysmenorrhoea as a teenager, she now strives to educate women about the medical support available to improve their quality of life.

Achievements in Women’s Health

Dr Rosaleen Jacob completed the FPAA Certificate in Reproductive and Women’s Health, equipping her with the skills to assess and manage female patients presenting with various gynaecological and obstetric issues, as well as supporting women going through menopause.
She is competent in the insertion and removal of LARC (Implanon) and has attended an IUD course, along with a recent refresher course covering Mirena, Kyleena, and copper IUDs.
