Dr Teicia Ho

Dr Teicia Ho completed her medical studies and a Masters of Research in Public Health in the UK before qualifying as a General Practitioner. She continues to pursue interests in women’s health from academic research in her early career, working in obstetrics & gynaecology during her training, to using a patient-focused and evidence-based approach in her day-to-day practice.

Dr Ho believes that women experience incredible changes throughout their lives—physically, mentally, and in response to societal expectations—and their health deserves focused attention. She is passionate about empowering women to take an active role in decision-making about their health. Trained in contraceptive IUDs and implants, and a member of the Australian Menopause Society, she strives to help women make informed choices by giving them the knowledge and tools to do so.

Outside of the clinic, Dr Ho enjoys exploring Queensland and cooking.

Achievements in Women’s Health

Trusted as a compassionate GP and good listener, providing care to women and their families (and friends!) for sexual and reproductive health concerns.
Experienced in providing continuity of care, from family planning through pregnancy and beyond.
My Masters research focused on postnatal depression among migrant women and health inequalities. I also presented my research on endometrial cancer at an international conference.

I’ve always had a keen interest in women’s health, starting with research during my medical studies. As a GP, I’m privileged to care for my patients and their families through different stages of life—particularly for women, from their reproductive years to post-menopause.
