Chrissy is a compassionate and dedicated professional who provides a safe and supportive space for individuals and families to overcome challenges and grow. With over 30 years of experience in Human Resource Management, Chrissy transitioned into Counselling in 2020, bringing a wealth of knowledge and skills to her practice.
Originally from Nigeria, Chrissy arrived in Australia in 1986 to pursue her Masters Degree in Business Administration at Monash University Clayton. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from the University of Calabar Nigeria.
Passionate about giving back, Chrissy is actively involved in charity projects, particularly focusing on supporting orphans overseas (Uganda and Nigeria) and volunteers with the King’s Church Community Care organisation in Reedy Creek. Her interest in women’s health is deeply personal, stemming from her own experiences with grief and loss, driving her to help other women heal their minds, bodies, and relationships.
As a proud mother of two adult children and a loving grandmother, Chrissy considers raising her children to be happy and independent adults as one of her greatest achievements.
Outside of her professional life, Chrissy enjoys bushwalking, reading, cooking, and entertaining guests. She believes in the importance of self-care and nurtures her soul through activities like listening to music, meditation, yoga, going to the movies, and dancing.
Chrissy’s holistic approach to counselling, combined with her diverse background and genuine passion for helping others, makes her a valuable resource for anyone seeking support and guidance through life’s challenges.
