Although born and raised in Malaysia, Dr Priya completed her MBBS at Adelaide University, before completing her GP training by working in Riverland and Barossa Valley in regional SA. Moving to NSW in 2018, Dr Priya worked in Riverstone, then in Jerrabomberra, before relocating to Canberra and starting at Phillip Medical and Dental Centre.
As an outstanding student, Dr Priya was presented with multiple awards during her years of study, including; Best Resident Medical Officer 2013 from the Lyell McEwin Hospital Intern Choice Awards, The Tun Dato’ Seri Dr Mohamed Zahir Merit Award in 2009 for excellence in academic performance and the Pre-clinical MBBS from International Medical University (IMU) in Malaysia.
Dr Priya has also volunteered her time to be an OSCE examiner/patient for Adelaide University students, PRCC Flinders Medical University students as well as for the RACGP.
Outside of medicine, you will find Dr Priya reading or spending quality time with family and friends, including her precious 8 month old daughter.
During his internship in Kerala State in India, Dr Sudhish had a renowned obstetrics and gynaecology trainer from whom he gained a lot of experience in managing women’s health conditions as well as antenatal care.
Completing his GP training in the UK, Dr Sudhish worked in the obstetrics and gynaecology department for six months before completing his diploma in family planning and his MRCGP degree.
Relocating to Melbourne in 2012, Dr Sudhish completed training in IUD insertion and has been providing all contraceptive services over the last few years.
Known for his cheerful and optimistic demeaner, Dr Sudhish comes from a family of doctors, with healthcare being a way of life in the household.
A proud father of 3 wonderful children, Dr Sudhish’s eldest son is also already working as a doctor! Dr Sudhish credits his beautiful wife for keeping the family healthy and happy, alongside smoothly running the household.
Outside of medicine, Dr Sudhish is a keen sports enthusiast and badminton player. Doing his bit for the community, Dr Sudhish helps run a local badminton club and likes to bring people together to socialise through sporting activities.
Graduating from Melbourne University in 2002, Dr Darren has been a GP since 2011. Before general practice, Dr Darren worked as a hospital-based doctor in pregnancy, women’s and children’s health.
Darren states that his biggest achievement so far within the woman’s health space is empowering women to take charge of their health and changing their lives for the better.
Outside of medicine, Dr Darren enjoys getting down to the beach and spending time with his wife and kids.
Graduating from Sun Yat-Sen University in 1993, Dr Susan is a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has now worked as a GP in Australia for over eight years. Before settling in Chatswood, Dr Susan worked in various hospitals and GP practices in metro and rural areas of Australia.
Outside of medicine, Dr Susan loves gardening, travelling and bush walking.
Graduating from Flinders University in 2002, Dr Thomas completed ten years of training with RANZCOG in obstetrics and gynaecology before switching to general practice.
With an Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and a Diploma in Child Health, Dr Thomas has special interest in paediatrics and women’s health.
Having been a doctor for more than sixteen years, Dr Amatun brings a wealth of experience in family medicine to her patients.
Known for her empathy and being a good listener, Dr Amatun is passionate about helping women with their unique health issues.
Outside of medicine, Dr Amatun is a loving mother who enjoys spending time with her two girls, and also loves travelling and seeing the world.
Graduating in 2004 from Azad Medical University in Tehran, Iran, Dr Parastoo has been working as a doctor for nearly 20 years.
Moving to Australia in 2010, Dr Parastoo initially worked in various public hospitals, as well as spending three years in mental health services. In 2017, Dr Parastoo received her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Outside of medicine, Dr Parastoo loves travelling, spending time with her family & doing reformer Pilates.
Completing her medical degree in China, Dr Jenny moved to Australia, completed her fellowship with the RACGP and has since been a practicing doctor in Sydney since 2014.
Experienced in all areas of general practice, Dr Jenny has a special interest in women’s health and preventative health. Continuity of care is important to Dr Jenny and she takes pride in providing holistic care for her patients.
Outside of medicine, Dr Jenny enjoys travelling, reading and spending time with her family and friends.
Completing her medical degree in 2003 from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, Dr Brenda’s early career involved delivering babies and performing minor gynaecological surgeries in rural South Africa, which sparked her passion for women’s health.
As her professional journey continued in the United Kingdom, Dr Brenda worked across general practice, accident and emergency, and mental health services. In London, Dr Brenda earned her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the Royal College and went on to become a partner in a GP practice for ten years, before making the daring move to Australia, prompted by a desire for sunnier skies.
Having worked in regional Queensland for the past four years, Dr Brenda has attained her Australian GP Fellowship, achieving distinction as the recipient of the Mary Mahoney Memorial Prize for the top exam candidate in Queensland.
Dr Brenda’s passion for women’s health revolves around collaborating with women to optimise their physical and mental well-being through proactive health measures.
Outside of medicine, Dr Brenda can be found enjoying time with her family, doing Pilates and buying makeup.
Having worked closely with gynaecologists and obstetricians since 2017 in the Newcastle region, Dr Grace has dedicated time to assisting deliveries and managing various obstetric and gynaecological presentations in the private health sector.
With a strong belief in providing compassionate and dedicated patient-centred care for pregnant and non-pregnant women, Dr Grace aims to create an environment where women can discuss their issues openly and feel part of the decision-making process.
Dr Grace likes to give back and has been part of a volunteering program called “feed the homeless” where the group would drive down to Sydney every Saturday to bring clothes and food for people in unfortunate situations.
Outside of medicine, Dr Grace loves gardening, reading historical books and exercising with her adorable dogs.
