Dr. Jay Kotecha

After completing his medical training in the UK, which included rotations in Women’s Health and sexual health, Dr Jay relocated with to Australia with his family in 2020.

Dr Jay has a small family and enjoys going to the beach with his little boy and playing tennis with friends.

Dr. Jennifer Cortez

In 2005, Dr Jennifer finished her obstetrics and gynaecology residency training in the Philippines.

Dr Jennifer then went on to move to the UK where she worked as a senior house officer in obstetrics and gynaecology for 2 years, before deciding to become a General Practitioner. 

After completing her GP training in the UK in 2006, Dr Jennifer obtained her diploma in obstetrics and gynaecology. Dr Jennifer worked in the UK for many years before moving to the sunny Gold Coast in 2018.

With a special interest in Women’s Health, Dr Jennifer is skilled in IUD insertion and removal, Implanon insertion and removal, and has completed studies in reproductive and sexual health. 

Dr. Ignatius Oyugbo

With 25 years of experience in medicine, Dr Ignatius is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has a postgraduate fellowship in obstetrics and gynaecology. 

Working as a GP Obstetrician in the Riverland community of Loxton, South Australia and as a service registrar of obstetrics and gynaecology at the Lyell McEwin hospital, Dr Ignatius has gained a lot of valuable knowledge when it comes to Women’s Health.
Outside of medicine, Dr Ignatius enjoys playing badminton.

Dr. Hana Sandrik

After completing her medical studies at Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, Dr Hana then relocated to Canada where she completed her specialty training in family medicine at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

The next destination for Dr Hana was the move with her family to Australia, and she has been practicing here as a GP for 11 years.

With a special passion for youth and Women’s Health, Dr Hana wants to help educate her patients as much as possible. She also collaborates with the RACGP to assist in educating and examining future GPs (medical students).

Outside of medicine, Dr Hana loves spending time with her family doing a variety of activities and sports such as hiking, biking, skiing and camping.

Dr. Kalyanie Kuruppuarachchi

During her early years in Sri Lanka as a GP, Dr Kalyanie developed a passion for Women’s Health. Now living in Australia and practicing out of Maroubra Medical & Dental Centre, Dr Kalyanie is married and has 3 daughters – which fuels her passion for Women’s Health even further. Outside of medicine, Dr Kalyanie enjoys gardening, reading, meditating and volunteering for the religious events at her temple.

Dr. Vidya Prabhu

With more than 12 years’ experience as a General Practitioner, Dr Vidya enjoys family and general medicine, along with Women’s Health.

In the Women’s Health space, Dr Vidya’s particular interests lay in antenatal and postnatal care, sexual health and contraception, as well as menopause.

Apart from general practice, Dr Vidya is also passionate about teaching and offers her time to future general practitioners who are still studying.

Outside of medicine, Dr Vidya likes to spend her time with family, strength training, yoga, and actively improving my personal development.  

Dr. Nitya Krishnamurthy

Completing her medical studies in India, Dr Nitya moved to the UK to complete her general practice training in North-East England. After finishing her studies, Dr Nitya continued to work in the UK until she moved in Australia in 2020, where she became a Fellow of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.


Outside of medicine, Dr Nitya enjoys spending time with her family, cycling, hiking, practicing mindful meditation and reading books. Dr Nitya also likes to volunteer her time at the Art of Living organisation, which helps people clear their minds with a complete meditation experience.

Dr. Farhat Jehan

Completing her medical degree in Pakistan and then interning in obstetrics, gynaecology and general medicine, Dr Farhat has been practicing for over 12 years.

Moving to Australia in 2006 with her family, she became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and now practices out of the Caringbah Medical and Dental Centre.

Outside of medicine, Dr Farhat is a proud mother of 3 beautiful girls, enjoys travelling, reading and is a bit of a movie buff.

Dr. Rekha Jayaram Rao

Having been a practicing GP for more than 30 years, with special training in women’s health, Dr Rekha strives to help her patients through every stage of life.

With special interest in antenatal shared care, family planning, pelvic pain and menopause, Dr Rekha has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to Women’s Health.

She is currently working with Central and Eastern Sydney hospitals to provide antenatal shared care to her patients, as well training in the medical termination of pregnancy.

Outside of medicine, Dr Rekha enjoys dancing and yoga.

Dr. Dzung Do

Dr Dzung has been a GP for more than 30 years, with many opportunities where she was able to practice medicine in various settings and cultures.

With a broad knowledge and special interest in Women’s Health, Dr Dzung is able to provide GP shared antenatal care to pregnant women booked at Canterbury and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

She is an accredited s100 prescriber and able to prescribe restricted medications for patients with chronic hepatitis B.

Outside of medicine, Dr Dzung enjoys scuba diving.
