I am a woman and a mother – so I understand women's feelings, their needs and the difficulties they may face through different stages of their life.
When I was first presented with an opportunity to work in rural areas of Australia, I saw that women from these areas were waiting a long time to see female doctors and there was a shortage of gynaecologists. This led me to wanting to extend my knowledge of women’s health conditions so I could actively help these women and give them access to better healthcare.
