Dr Menaka Adikaram is a compassionate General Practitioner who is dedicated to providing holistic, evidence-based women’s health care in a welcoming and supportive environment. After qualifying as a medical doctor in 2010, she gained valuable postgraduate experience across India, England, and Scotland before undertaking specialist training in Psychiatry in London. Her passion for caring for the whole person led her to General Practice, where she completed her specialist GP training through the Oxford Deanery in the United Kingdom.

Dr Menaka has a particular interest in perimenopause, menopause, sexual health, contraception, reproductive health, and the connection between physical and mental wellbeing. She believes every woman should have access to quality healthcare and be empowered with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their health. Her patient-centred approach focuses on listening, understanding individual needs, and providing respectful care tailored to every stage of life.

Outside of medicine, Dr Menaka enjoys living by the sea, practising Pilates, discovering new food experiences, and travelling. She believes life is a journey to be embraced and enjoys connecting with people from diverse backgrounds, bringing warmth and empathy to every consultation.
