Dr Farhana Moushumi is a Specialist General Practitioner with extensive experience in women’s health, obstetrics, and gynaecology. She holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), a Master of Public Health (MPH), and an Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG Advanced). With more than a decade of experience working across major tertiary hospitals in Sydney, including Westmead, Liverpool, Bankstown, and Campbelltown Hospitals, as well as regional centres in Tweed Heads and Rockhampton, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the care of women at every stage of life. Since 2019, she has practised as a GP proceduralist with a strong focus on women’s health.

Dr Moushumi is passionate about supporting women through every stage of life, from puberty and reproductive health to pregnancy care, fertility support, menopause, and healthy ageing. She provides compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each woman’s individual needs, with clinical interests including antenatal shared care, contraception, Mirena® insertion, management of menopausal symptoms, sexual health, iron infusions, child and adolescent health, mental health, chronic disease management, and minor procedures. She is committed to empowering women with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their health while creating a respectful and supportive environment where they feel heard and understood.

Outside of medicine, Dr Moushumi values a healthy work-life balance. She enjoys travelling to experience different cultures and spending quality time with her family, creating lasting memories together.
