Dr Azin Malekzadeh is an experienced General Practitioner with a strong interest in women’s health and providing personalised, holistic care. She graduated in Medicine from Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences in Iran in 2001 and worked as a General Practitioner in Iran for 12 years before moving to Australia. Since 2017, Dr Azin has been practising as a GP in Melbourne, supporting patients from diverse backgrounds with their healthcare needs.

Dr Azin is passionate about supporting women’s physical and mental wellbeing throughout every stage of life. She believes women’s health care should recognise each patient’s individual circumstances, concerns and priorities. Her approach is collaborative and patient-centred, taking the time to listen and provide clear, evidence-based information so women can make informed decisions about their health. Dr Azin particularly values developing trusting and supportive relationships with her patients and creating a respectful environment where women feel comfortable discussing their health concerns.

Outside of medicine, Dr Azin enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys dancing, travelling and going for walks with her dog.
