Dr Maryam Lak is an experienced General Practitioner with more than 15 years of providing comprehensive primary care and a special interest in women’s health. She is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that supports women through every stage of life. Dr Lak holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Family Planning and Sexual Health Certificate. She also has experience in Mirena® insertion and currently practises within a dedicated Women’s Health Hub.

Dr Lak is passionate about women’s health because she understands the everyday challenges many women experience and believes they deserve accessible, respectful, and personalised care. She enjoys supporting women with contraception, sexual health, pelvic pain, endometriosis, menopause, and reproductive health, while empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their wellbeing. Her patient-centred approach focuses on listening carefully, providing clear information, and working collaboratively to develop care plans tailored to each individual’s needs.

Outside of clinical practice, Dr Lak enjoys maintaining a balanced lifestyle and values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with her patients. She finds great satisfaction in helping women feel heard, supported, and confident in managing their health throughout every stage of life.
