Dr Charlotte Patton is a General Practitioner with a strong interest in women’s health, menopause management and preventive healthcare. She graduated from Newcastle University in the UK in 2011 and initially trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before transitioning to General Practice to focus on providing comprehensive, community-based care. She has completed several postgraduate qualifications in women’s health, including advanced training in menopause care through the British Menopause Society.
Dr Patton provides care across a broad range of women’s health concerns, with particular interests in perimenopause, menopause, contraception and reproductive health. She has extensive experience in intrauterine device (IUD) and contraceptive implant insertion and removal. Her approach combines evidence-based medical care with consideration of lifestyle, emotional wellbeing and individual circumstances. She believes that understanding their bodies empowers women to recognise health concerns, advocate for themselves and make informed decisions about their care.
Before moving to Australia, Dr Patton contributed to the development of menopause services and Women’s Health Hubs in Cornwall, helping improve access to women’s healthcare. She values building ongoing relationships with patients and providing a respectful environment where every woman’s experiences are heard.
Outside medicine, Dr Patton enjoys horse riding, travelling, learning languages and spending time outdoors with her family. She also enjoys art and has led a community project exploring women’s health experiences through creative expression.
