Dr Madhura Targe is an experienced General Practitioner with a strong interest in women’s health and family medicine. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and postgraduate training in Paediatrics in India before moving to the United Kingdom with her husband. After working in paediatrics in the UK, she completed her specialist General Practice training and practised as a GP in North London before relocating to Australia with her family. Her diverse clinical background has given her a broad understanding of caring for women and families across all stages of life.

Dr Targe is passionate about supporting women to access safe, respectful, and evidence-based healthcare. She believes every woman should have the opportunity to openly discuss her health concerns in a supportive environment and be empowered to make informed decisions about her wellbeing. Her patient-centred approach focuses on listening, understanding each woman’s individual needs, and providing personalised care throughout every stage of life. She values building long-term relationships with her patients and helping them navigate their health with confidence.

Outside of medicine, Dr Targe enjoys spending time with her family, children, and friends. She loves travelling, exploring new places, trying different cuisines, dancing, practising yoga, baking, and relaxing by the sea.
