Dr Sophie is passionate about women’s health and supporting women with the education, information and care they need to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing. She values taking the time to listen and understand each woman’s individual needs, recognising that health concerns can be complex and may change throughout different stages of life.

A key clinical interest is weight management and metabolic health. With more than seven years’ experience working in bariatric general practice, Dr Sophie supports women managing weight-related health concerns and chronic conditions including diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and insulin resistance. Her approach incorporates lifestyle and nutritional education alongside appropriate medical management and pharmacotherapy, with a focus on helping women better understand and manage their health.

Dr Sophie also has experience supporting women through pregnancy care, working alongside obstetricians with a particular focus on nutrition and mental wellbeing during the antenatal period. Her broader women’s health interests include fertility support and preconception nutrition, urogynaecological concerns such as prolapse and bladder symptoms, and perimenopause and menopause care. Across adolescence, the reproductive years and later life, she aims to provide compassionate, respectful and evidence-based care that helps women feel heard and supported.
