Dr Fairuz Osman

Completing her medical degree in 2008, Dr. Fairuz Binti worked in various hospital departments before serving in the emergency department for five years. She began her journey in family medicine in 2013 and has since served in community health and general practice clinics. She obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2019.

Dr. Fairuz understands the nature of women’s development from womb to tomb, emphasizing the importance of a holistic approach to women’s health care. She is committed to delivering better health for women by offering comprehensive medical services and personalised care. Her expertise includes understanding the impact of hormones on women’s health at different stages of life and prioritising mental health care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Fairuz is a proud mother of four wonderful kids. Her joy and passion revolve around spending quality time with her family. She finds solace in the pages of books and poetry, often transporting her to different worlds. Exploring new destinations through travel excites her, while brisk walks in nature rejuvenate her soul.

Dr. Fairuz has experience seeing difficult conceptions progress through the stages of pregnancy with good delivery outcomes.
Dr. Fairuz spend a lot of time counselling women who have struggled to conceive, faced recurrent miscarriages, or experienced in utero death. There are many cases where early detection of certain conditions, often unnoticed by many women, proves to be crucial.

I enjoy working in women's and child health clinics. I take great satisfaction in managing preconception to pregnancy, postnatal care, and offering various choices of contraception. I often remind women to ensure they have the best care for themselves before caring for someone else.
