Dr Hanis began her medical training in Ireland before moving to Australia, where she gained valuable experience working in maternal and child health clinics. Over time, she developed a strong interest in women’s health and has since dedicated her career to general practice, where she is able to provide holistic and ongoing care for women at all stages of life.

Having personally navigated many of the challenges that come with “womanly issues,” Dr Hanis brings both medical expertise and personal insight to her practice. She understands how overwhelming and frustrating symptoms can be when left unaddressed, and she is passionate about helping her patients find clarity, relief, and confidence in managing their health.

Her focus on supporting women in general practice was shaped by the growing number of women who turned to her seeking reassurance, practical solutions, and compassionate guidance. Dr Hanis strives to ensure that every patient feels listened to, respected, and empowered to make informed choices about their well-being. To better serve her community, Dr Hanis offers consultations in both Malay and English.

Outside of work, Dr Hanis enjoys spending time in the kitchen exploring new recipes, heading outdoors for a hike, and more recently, nurturing her creative side through photography.
