Dr Nivali Balmoori is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with a special interest in women’s health. She holds a Master of Public Health from Deakin University and has undertaken further medical training across Queensland and Victoria. Dr Balmoori enjoys supporting women through all stages of life, providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers patients to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.

Her clinical interests include contraception, pregnancy care, cervical screening, menopause management, sexual health, and non-directive pregnancy counselling. She also performs Mirena® IUD and Implanon® insertions and removals and supports women with menstrual concerns, hormonal health, overweight and obesity management, and endocrine conditions such as thyroid disorders and diabetes. Dr Balmoori also enjoys caring for children and families as part of her broad general practice work.

Having previously worked within Aboriginal health services, Dr Balmoori values culturally sensitive and inclusive healthcare. She is passionate about reducing barriers to care and supporting women from diverse cultural backgrounds to access the healthcare they need. As a local resident of Murrumba Downs, she values strong community connections and enjoys spending time with her husband, young daughter, and miniature dachshund, often exploring the local area on leisurely walks.
