Growing up across several countries before studying medicine at the University of Dundee in Scotland, Dr Victoria Ripley was drawn to general practice after enjoying all her rotations and appreciating the fast-paced, varied nature of the work.

She completed her hospital and GP training in Scotland and has since worked as a GP in the UK, Zambia, Canada, and now Australia. Dr Ripley holds additional qualifications in women’s health and has a special interest in supporting the unique healthcare needs of women—a passion reinforced during her time working as a bush doctor in rural Zambia.

Moving to Perth, Western Australia, in the midst of the 2020 pandemic, Dr Ripley has found the local community warm and welcoming.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys travelling, reading, swimming, bushwalking with her dogs, and has recently returned to horse riding after a 20-year break.
