Dr Saima Fawad is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with extensive experience across hospital and general practice settings in Australia and overseas. Since moving to Australia in 2012, she has worked in Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients from diverse communities. Dr Fawad is passionate about supporting women through every stage of life and values building long-term relationships that help patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their healthcare decisions.
Her clinical interests include women’s health, contraception, menstrual concerns, fertility support, pregnancy care, menopause management, cervical screening, and preventive healthcare. Dr Fawad enjoys helping women navigate sensitive and complex health concerns with empathy and respect, ensuring they have the information they need to make informed choices. She also has additional training in skin cancer medicine and dermatological procedures, allowing her to provide comprehensive care across a broad range of health needs.
Dr Fawad graduated with an MBBS from Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan, before attaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Her experience working in both rural and metropolitan communities has strengthened her commitment to delivering accessible, patient-centred care focused on prevention, long-term wellbeing, and improving women’s health outcomes.
