Dr Kathy Luong is a General Practitioner who is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care with a strong interest in women’s health. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2019 and is an Associate Lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine. Before entering General Practice, Dr Luong gained broad clinical experience across a range of medical and surgical specialties in hospitals throughout Queensland, including Brisbane, Rockhampton, and Far North Queensland. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Child Health through the Sydney Child Health Program in 2024 and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2026.

As a female GP, Dr Luong enjoys supporting women through every stage of life and values the opportunity to care for a wide range of women’s health concerns. She is passionate about continually expanding her knowledge to provide personalised, evidence-based care that empowers women to make informed decisions about their health. Her approach is centred on listening to her patients, understanding their individual needs, and fostering long-term relationships built on trust and respect.

Outside of medicine, Dr Luong enjoys exercising, crafting, and spending quality time with her dog. She values maintaining a healthy work-life balance and brings the same warmth and positivity to her patient care.
