Dr Nicola Cahill

Completing her medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2006, Dr Nicola went on to complete her Fellowship in the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Having now been a GP since 2013, Dr Nicola has loved every minute, and is particularly drawn to helping women and working with families.

Outside of medicine, Dr Nicola enjoys her country lifestyle with her family and is kept busy with her young twins and animals.

Dr Mokhlesur Rahman

Graduating from Dhaka University, Bangladesh in 2007, Dr Mokhlesur moved to Australia in 2013 where he studied a Master of Public Health and a Master of Health Services Management at Monash University.

Having now been working as a general practitioner in Australia more than 5 years, Dr Mokhlesur enjoys all aspects of family medicine.

Dr Sushma Chaparala

Having previously worked in India and the United States, Dr Sushma made the move to Australia and has been a GP here for over 8 years.

A GP who is experienced in all areas of family and general medicine, Dr Sushma has been naturally drawn towards helping women with their health concerns.

Outside of medicine, Dr Sushma loves spending time with her husband and kids, especially when going on holidays. For relaxation, Dr Sushma also enjoys sitting back and watching a good movie or cooking for family.

Having graduated from Davao Medical School Foundation in 1999, Dr Donna has enjoyed a successful and fulfilling career in General Medicine.

With so many years of experience, Dr Donna has developed a passion for helping women with their health and wellness.

Dr Alphonsa William

Completing her medical degree in Pakistan in 1981, Dr Alphonsa first worked for 6 months in gynaecology and obstetrics in a major hospital in Karachi before moving into a leprosy centre where she worked for 16 years. In this centre, Dr Alphonsa was responsible for looking after female lepers and their families, as well as the centre staff and their families.

After moving to Australia in 2000, Dr Alphonsa did 3 years of hospital HMO rotations, including 6 months in gynaecology/obstetrics in Dandenong hospital and then 6 months in Psychology at Monash Clayton. In 2009, Dr Alphonsa received her fellowship from the RACGP

AEarly on in Dr Alphonsa’s training, she realised women’s health does not get enough attention, especially in the third world country that she belonged to.

Since then, Dr Alphonsa has developed a passion for looking after women’s physical and mental health.

Outside of medicine, you can find Dr Alphonsa travelling and exploring Australian outback and spending time with her loving husband, 4 beautiful children and 2 precious grandchildren

 

Dr Mar Mar Thet

Originally graduating from Myanmar, Dr Mar Mar worked for a few years as a GP, before joining her husband in Fiji who was working as a United Nations volunteer under UNDP. For 20 years, Dr Mar Mar worked in various fields of medicine in Fiji and New Zealand before migrating to Australia where she has continued to work as a GP.

 

Dr Garry McInerney

Having been a doctor for over 40 years, Dr Garry brings a wealth of experience to family & general medicine. He is known for his intent listening skills and is always eager to fully understand his patient’s perspective.

Now in his 60s, Dr Garry and his wonderful wife have been married for 42 years and have two beautiful daughters. Outside of medicine, Dr Garry’s interest include travel, gardening, and sport.

 

Dr Alicia Altson

Beginning her studies at Melbourne University, Dr Alicia worked hospital medicine for three years and then started work in general practice in 2013.

Thriving in general practice, Dr Alicia enjoys that it gives her the opportunity to develop long term therapeutic relationships with her patients. Getting to know her patients and their families enables Dr Alicia to provide care that suits their individual circumstances and needs.

During her years in general practice, Dr Alicia has grown her own family and now has 4 busy little boys aging from 3 years to 11 years old. Being a mum takes up most of Dr Alicia’s time that is not spent at work. The weekends at Dr Alicia’s house revolve around community sport, family and friends. A guilty pleasure of Dr Alicia’s is when she gets to enjoy early mornings and time to herself so she can exercise and listen to an audiobook.

 

Dr Sue-Ann Steer

Initially completing her MBBS medical degree at Monash University, Dr sue-Ann went on to also qualify as a nutritionist with a Master of Nutrition from Deakin University. Having now practiced as a doctor in Bayside Melbourne for over 25 years, Dr Sue-Ann has always been passionate about preventative health and wellness in women.

Outside of medicine, Dr Sue-Ann enjoys being outdoors in nature, Pilates and good literature.
