Dr Samantha O’Connor is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners who is passionate about supporting women through every stage of life. She completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland and gained valuable hospital experience at Redcliffe Hospital, including rotations in obstetrics and gynaecology and paediatrics. Following her hospital training, Dr O’Connor completed her general practice training in Inala and Lawnton before attaining Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2024.

Dr O’Connor has a special interest in women’s health and enjoys building long-term, trusted relationships with her patients. She believes in providing a whole-person approach to healthcare, working collaboratively with women to support informed decision-making and help them achieve their individual health goals. Her clinical interests include fertility support, antenatal and postnatal care, contraception counselling, menopause and perimenopause management, sexual health, and medical termination of pregnancy (MTOP) consultations.

Originally from Brisbane, Dr O’Connor has also lived in Perth and Sydney before returning to Queensland and relocating to the Sunshine Coast. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and practising Pilates. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports women’s health, wellbeing, and confidence at every stage of life.
