Dr Crystal Yang is a GP with a special interest in women’s health, supporting patients through all stages of life with a compassionate, evidence-based approach. She is committed to creating a safe and respectful space where women feel heard, understood, and empowered to make informed decisions about their health. Her clinical interests include contraception, pelvic pain, menstrual concerns, menopause management, and sexual health, with a strong focus on addressing both physical and emotional wellbeing.
Dr Yang completed her medical degree at Imperial College London, graduating with distinction in clinical practice, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Psychiatry. This background informs her holistic approach, particularly in understanding the connection between mental health and hormonal changes. She has undertaken further training in obstetrics and gynaecology, including a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG), certification in menopause management, and procedural training in IUD and contraceptive implant insertion.
Having recently relocated to Australia from the UK, Dr Yang values continuity of care in general practice, where she can build long-term relationships with her patients. She enjoys supporting women across their reproductive lifespan, from contraception and pregnancy care through to menopause, helping them feel confident and informed in their healthcare journey.
