Dr Justina Pratap is a General Practitioner with more than 16 years of medical experience, including over six years in General Practice. She is passionate about partnering with women to achieve and maintain good health through compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centred care. Before transitioning to General Practice, Dr Pratap worked as a registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across hospitals in Australia and Fiji, providing her with a strong foundation in women’s health. She completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Medical Gynaecology from the University of Auckland in 2015, went on to achieve Fellowship in General Practice in New Zealand, and returned to Australia in 2026.
Dr Pratap has a particular interest in supporting women through every stage of life, with expertise in contraception, Mirena® and contraceptive implant insertion and removal, endometrial biopsies, menopause, pregnancy care, and general women’s health. As a member of the Australasian Menopause Society, she is committed to ongoing education and providing current, evidence-based care to women navigating perimenopause and menopause. Having worked with culturally diverse communities throughout her career, she values building trusting relationships and ensuring every patient feels respected, heard, and supported in making informed decisions about their health.
Outside of medicine, Dr Pratap enjoys nature walks, reading fiction, travelling to new destinations, and spending quality time with her family, especially her two daughters.
