Dr. Caroline Lade

MBBS, FRACGP, FACHSHM

Dr. Caroline completed her medical degree at the University of Tasmania in 2013, before moving to far north Queensland for further hospital training. She achieved fellowship in general practice in 2018 and was awarded the Tony Buhagiar Memorial Medal for her performance in her final clinical exam.

Following this, Dr. Caroline worked in a university health clinic and women’s health clinic in New South Wales, and also trained as a medical forensic examiner. Pursuing her passion for sexual and reproductive health, she embarked upon sexual health medicine training and fellowed as a sexual health physician in late 2023.

Dr. Caroline grew up in Tasmania and completed her medical degree there before moving to Queensland for further training. She has lived and worked across various cities on the east coast of Australia and is now based on the Gold Coast.

Dr. Caroline lives with her partner and their (very pampered) cats. She is a keen nature-lover and enjoys swimming at the beach, hiking, and camping.

Women's health issues are too often overlooked and dismissed by the medical profession. I am passionate about empowering women to make their own health choices, particularly regarding sexual and reproductive health.

I strive to provide women with a safe space to discuss these issues, using a non-judgmental and sensitive approach. I believe this is an area where we can make a profound difference to women's lives.
